10 deep cleaning hacks you should know about

Cleaning is one of the most tiring tasks because of the physical endurance it demands, patience, and perseverance, but it is something that has to be done eventually. 1. Hardwood floors 

To clean your beautiful hardwood floor, mix a tablespoon of castile soap with 2 cups of warm water, half a cup of vinegar, and 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol. Once done, pour the solution in a spray bottle and spray it onto your hardwood floor and let it dry.

2. Screen windows

Screen windows can collect dust, pet hair, and cobwebs lightning fats. To clean the windows, remove all of the collected dust and other stuck items using your vacuum hose. You can also use a lint roller across the screen for faster cleaning time.

3. Toilet siphons 

Most people clean their toilets and completely forget about the siphons. Well, they should be cleaned as well. To clean toilet siphons, turn off the water that runs through your toilet, and flush the remaining water. Once done, use duct tape to cover all of the toilet siphons tightly. Now, grab vinegar and pour it into the toilet tank, then flush it to trap it in the siphons. Let everything sit for a whole night before taking off the tape and turning the water on.

4. Clear faucet handles 

Cleaning faucet handles requires more than just a run with a damp washcloth every once in a while. The most effective way to clean faucet handles can be a little bit tricky. First, remove the handles from your sink and soak them in soapy hot water. Now grab a Q-tip and start scrubbing the crannies and nooks. This way you will save time because this method requires only a couple of minutes and you will clean the handles very well.

5. Get rid of urine smells

It is quite disgusting to go to the bathroom and smell urinal smell. To clear the smell, clean the area around the toilet using lemon juice, baking soda, vinegar, and fresh lemon juice.

Air vents build up dirt very quickly, and if left uncleaned, you will end up with dust blown out all over your house. Cleaning air vents is quite simple, grab a butter knife and wrap it with a rag, then spray the air vents with your favorite cleaner. Once done, stick the knife between the vent’s slats and start moving it sideways to get rid of all the built-up dirt.

The number one problem everyone has with garbage disposal is the bad smell that’s generated from it. To deep clean your garbage disposal, start by turning it off to avoid accidents, then scrub toothbrush and grease-cutting cleaner under the splash guard and you’re good to go.

8. Glass cooktop 

The best and most effective way to clean the glass cooktop in a single shot is very simple actually. Simply squirt dish soap on your cooktop, then sprinkle baking soda on top of the squirted soap and pour in some hydrogen peroxide. Let everything sit for 3 minutes, then wipe the glass cooktop clean.

9. Baseboards 

Cleaning baseboards is one of the easiest to do, baby wipes and Magic Eraser are more than perfect to get the job done. Simply spray some water on a portion of your baseboard, then scrub the eraser on the water. Start doing this over and over until you reach the end of the baseboards.
