These chocolate and peanut butter balls are my favorite holiday candies and are very easy to make with only 4 ingredients.
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
3 tablespoons of softened salted butter
1 cup of powdered sugar
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Mix the peanut butter and soft butter in a mixing bowl. Gradually add the powdered sugar until thoroughly mixed. Cover and place in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to harden.
Using your hands, shape the dough into 1-inch balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet, cover, and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes (this will hold their shape for dipping).
Melt the chocolate chips according to the instructions on the package.
Using a fork, dip the peanut butter balls one by one into the melted chocolate. Let the excess chocolate fall out. Place the chocolate balls on wax paper, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
