Banana Pudding Cups Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 box French Vanilla pudding mix
  • Half box Banana cream pudding mix
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tube Cool Whip (8 oz), thawed
  • Pepperidge cookies (for layering)
  • Vanilla wafers (for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Pudding Mix:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the French Vanilla pudding mix and half of the Banana cream pudding mix.
    • Follow the instructions on the pudding mix packages, using the suggested amount of milk. Mix until well combined and let it set for a few minutes to thicken.
  2. Prepare Creamy Mixture:
    • In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
    • Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk to the cream cheese, mixing well until fully incorporated.
  3. Combine Pudding and Creamy Mixtures:
    • Gently fold the prepared pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture. Ensure a smooth and consistent texture.
  4. Fold in Cool Whip:
    • Carefully fold in the thawed Cool Whip until the mixture is light and fluffy. Be gentle to maintain the airy texture.
  5. Assemble Banana Pudding Cups:
    • Begin layering the dessert cups. Start with a layer of Pepperidge cookies at the bottom.
    • Add a generous spoonful of the pudding mixture over the cookies, spreading it evenly.
    • Continue layering with more cookies and pudding until you reach the top of each cup, finishing with a layer of the pudding mixture.
  6. Chill:
    • Refrigerate the assembled banana pudding cups for at least 2-3 hours or until set. This allows the flavors to meld and the dessert to achieve the perfect consistency.
  7. Serve:
    • Just before serving, garnish the top of each cup with a few vanilla wafers for added crunch and decoration.
