It’s almost magical when you put the tomatoes and the parmesan cheese together. I don’t know, but these two ingredients are a marriage made in heaven. Whoever invented this combo knew what they were talking about.
2-3 large steak tomatoes
1 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon of dried basil
1 tablespoon of dried oregano
2 tablespoons fresh Italian parsley, chopped.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Cut the tomatoes into slices from 1/4″ and arrange them on the baking sheet.
Cover each slice with enough Parmesan to cover the top, as well as a little basil and oregano.
Bake for 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Top with freshly chopped Italian parsley.
