Banana Bread BROWNIES

Instructions

Heat oven to 375°F. Grease a 13 x 9 inch skillet.

For the brownie,
In a large bowl, beat the sugar, sour cream, butter and eggs until creamy.
Mix with the bananas and vanilla extract.
Add the flour, baking soda, salt and mix for 1 minute. Add the nuts.
Spread the dough evenly in the frying pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool slightly (hot but not hot) and frost with the glaze.

For the glaze,
Heat the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Watch carefully when it reaches a medium brown color, turn off the heat, beat the powdered sugar at the same time, add the milk as it thickens, then add the vanilla.
Pour over hot banana bread brownies immediately, and smooth with a spatula, butter knife or icing knife.
Cool completely before cutting.
