CHRISTMAS TREE GRAHAMS

I see so many beautiful recipes online that I think I can do. In fact, I know that most would take me hours and hours and end up looking like a Pinterest failure. This recipe is so simple, easy and festive for the Christmas season. It won’t take a whole day to make and the kids can join in. In fact, I think it’s easier than spreading out the sugar cookie dough and making decorated cookies. You can make as many or as few as they want and you can even try other themes like snowflakes, gloves, wreaths, etc.

Ingredients

12 oz of green candy melts
squares of graham crackers
The M&M baking pieces located in the baking section
Rolls cut at 1/2 (if you keep them in the fridge before making the trees they keep their shape better while being cut at 1/2)
small sadnwich bag
Kitchen scissors
toothpicks

Instructions

Pour the melting green candy into a microwave-safe dish. Heat in the microwave in 30-40 second increments, stirring until melted. Allow the melted chocolate to cool slightly before handling.
Place the melted green chocolate in the small sandwich bag. Cut the end and make a small triangle in a square of graham crackers (see photo).
Give each tree a base using 1/2 Rolo – use the toothpick to spread some melted chocolate on the flat side and place it under the tree.
Fill the tree with the green chocolate and use a toothpick to fill in the gaps (see photo).
Use the baking pieces from the mini M&M to decorate the tree. (see photo)
Repeat with the desired amount of graham cracker squares.
