CINNAMON APPLE CAKE

This Cinnamon Apple Cake is a delicious and moist dessert, perfect for fall or any time of the year. With a blend of sweet apples, crunchy walnuts, and warm cinnamon, this cake pairs wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped and peeled apples (about 2 medium apples)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9-inch round cake pan with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, sugar, and dark brown sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt to the wet mixture. Stir until just combined. Fold in the chopped apples and walnuts.

Spoon the batter into the greased pan, spreading it evenly.

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before cutting into slices.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat. Enjoy!
