Meet Cairo, a happy dog with a very good memory, at least as far as his friends are concerned.
Cairo knows exactly where all his dog friends live and he will never miss the opportunity to say “hello”. “He’s very friendly and talkative,” said Brodny Wilson, Cairo’s father, to the Dodo. “He has quite a few friends in our neighborhood and knows the houses of all his paw buddies.
The friendliness of Cairo can be a bit frustrating when Wilson tries to take him out. But, for Cairo, no walk is complete without checking out his friends.
The Samoyed always insists on passing by Domino the Husky’s house and howling for him from the street.
“Every time we pass Domino’s house, Cairo will howl or bark to call him to the window,” said Wilson. “If Domino is not home I will have to tell Cairo, ‘Domino must be asleep. Otherwise, he will want to wait indefinitely.
When Domino is home, he is always happy for the visit, and the two dogs will exchange a few barks until Cairo is ready to finish its walk.
Cairo and Domino are best buds, but the pup also makes regular stops at the homes of his friends Loki, Bruno, Flower and Royal. It’s a busy schedule, but Cairo wouldn’t have it any other way.
And when there are no friends to bark at, Cairo finds plenty of other outlets. “He howls when he hears ice cream trucks, ambulances, police sirens or fire trucks,” Wilson said. “He’s just a great boy and a true Samoyed.”
