I could sit down and eat a whole bowl of this egg-free cookie dough… so good! I remember I always had to be the first one to lick the mixers and lick the bowl when I made chocolate chip cookies with my mother. Although most of us survived, eggs are not considered safe to eat raw. This recipe leaves out the eggs and you can enjoy it by the spoon!
1 bar of unsalted butter softened
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 cup of mini chocolate chips
Place the soft butter in a mixing bowl. Add the sugars until well combined, then add the vanilla. Add the flour, salt and chocolate chips until the dough is formed. Cover well with a plastic wrap or lid until ready to use. We do not refrigerate. Now take a big spoon and enjoy!
