INGREDIENTS

4 tablespoons of Challenge salted butter
1 teaspoon of salt
2 large red onions (about 5 cups), thinly sliced
2 large sweet onions (about 5 cups) cut into thin slices
1 can (32 ounces) chicken broth
A can of beef broth…
1/2 cup of red wine
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
2 sprigs of fresh parsley
1 sprig of fresh thyme leaves
1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
TOPPING
4 large cups of homemade croutons
2 cups of grated gruyere cheese
2 cups of crushed Asiago
