French toast is very easy to make and even more fun to share and eat! Roll up an assortment of tasty fillings inside a slice of bread and stir-fry until golden brown.
16 slices of soft bread
4 tablespoons of milk
1/3 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
filling of your choice (such as cream cheese, jam, nutella or your favorite)
Put a piece of bread on a cutting board and cut out the crust. Use a rolling pin to flatten each piece of bread.
At one end of the bread place the filling (only a small strip) and roll up.
In a flat dish, combine the sugar and the cinnamon. Mix well. In a second flat dish, beat the eggs and milk. Dip the roll in the egg mixture.
Heat a frying pan over medium-low heat, melt the butter to cover the pan. Place the rolls in the pan, seam side down.
Cook them until they are golden brown and turn brown on all sides.
Remove the rolls one by one from the pan and pass them through the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
