  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Toppings:
  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

Prepare the Oven and Pan:

  • Preheat your oven to 475°F. Spray a large baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray and line it with parchment paper.

Make the Dough:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, powdered milk, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the vegetable oil with warm water. Gradually add this liquid to the dry ingredients, stirring with a wooden spoon until a slightly wet dough forms.

Bake the Crust:

  • Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet, spreading it evenly to cover the entire surface.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.

Prepare the Sauce:

  • While the crust is baking, make the pizza sauce by combining tomato paste, minced garlic, water, olive oil, salt, black pepper, oregano, basil, and rosemary in a medium bowl. Stir until well combined.

Cook the Meat:

  • In a skillet, cook the ground chuck over medium heat until it’s browned and crumbled. Season with salt and pepper, then drain any excess grease.

Assemble the Pizza:

  • Remove the crust from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  • Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust.
  • Add the cooked ground chuck as the next layer.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top, covering all the ingredients.

Final Baking:

  • Place the pizza back in the oven for another 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve:

  • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it stand for at least 5 minutes before cutting into squares. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious, homemade school-style pizza.
