Honey Garlic Chicken Wings Recipe (Oven Baked)

The chicken wings with honey and garlic are absolutely delicious. They are sweet and sticky and the perfect complement to any appetizer dish. These chicken wings are baked until they are crispy and then covered with a honey and garlic sauce.

Ingredients

▢50 split chicken wings
▢¼ cup of flour
▢salt and pepper to taste
▢1 tablespoon of olive oil
Sauce
▢½ cup of honey
▢4 tablespoons of soy sauce
▢4 large crushed garlic cloves
▢1 tablespoon of finely chopped ginger
▢½ teaspoon of chili flakes
▢⅓ cup of water
▢1 teaspoon corn starch

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F. Touch wings with paper towels until completely dry.
Mix the wings with flour, salt and pepper. Remove excess flour and spray with olive oil (or use an olive oil spray).
Line a baking pan with aluminum foil and then place parchment paper on top (you may need 2 baking pans) and bake for 35 minutes turning for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine the sauce ingredients in a small baking pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer about 10 minutes or until slightly thickened and sauce covers the back of a spoon.
Remove the wings from the oven, mix them with the sauce and put them back in the oven for 10 minutes, turning them over after 5 minutes.
Leave to cool for 10 minutes. As the sauce cools, it thickens. Stir the wings every few minutes to cover the sauce as it thickens.
