Hot Chocolate Lasagna

Hot chocolate lasagna is a delicious dessert, perfect for parties to feed the crowd and is no recipe for baking!

Ingredients

For Oreo bark:
36 ground Oreo cookies
½ unsalted cup melted with butter

Layer of hot chocolate cheesecake mousse
½ cup unsalted butter softened
8 oz. of softened cream cheese
1 cup of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
5 (0.73 oz) sachets of instant hot cocoa mixture (milk chocolate flavor)
1 ½ cups heavy whipped cream

Layer of Chocolate Pudding:
2 (3.8 oz.) of instant pudding chocolate mix
2 ¾ cups of milk
1 cup of mini marshmallows

Topping:
1 ¼ cups heavy whipped cream (or 2 ½ cups whipped cream)
2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
2 cups of mini marshmallows
Chocolate coating or Nutella to serve

Instructions

To make the crust, place the whole Oreo cookies with the filling in a food processor and grind into fine crumbs. Add the melted butter and press the mixture into the bottom of a 13 x 9 inch pan. Place them in the refrigerator or freezer so they are firm while the next layer is being made.
To make the hot chocolate cheesecake mousse layer, whip the soft butter and cream cheese with the vanilla and powdered sugar until creamy and smooth.
In another bowl, whip the heavy whipped cream and the instant milk chocolate powder until stiff peaks form. Fold half of the hot chocolate whipped cream into the cheesecake mixture, and then fold it into another half (scrape the bottom of the bowl well to incorporate all the ingredients). Then spread on the crust and put it in the fridge or freezer to make it firm.
For the pudding layer in a bowl, whisk the instant chocolate pudding mixture and milk until it begins to thicken. Add the mini marshmallows and spread them over the layer of hot chocolate mousse. Place them in the refrigerator or freezer to harden.
When the pudding layer has set, make whipped cream. Beat the whipped cream and the powdered sugar until they form hard peaks. Spread the whipped cream on the pudding layer and place it in the fridge for a few hours or better during the night.
Before serving, spread 2 cups of mini marshmallows over the whipped cream.
Serve sprinkled with melted chocolate, Nutella or chocolate topping.
Keep the leftovers in the fridge.

Notes

Hot chocolate lasagna is best the next day when it completely firms up overnight in the fridge. You can make it 2 or 3 days in advance, but I suggest making a layer of chocolate pudding without marshmallows, because the marshmallows mixed in the pudding get soaked after a few days in the fridge.
