NO KNEAD BREAD

This unkneaded bread is the easiest recipe of all! Flour, salt, yeast and water are combined and then baked in a hot Dutch oven to make the most delicious crunchy bread.

INGREDIENTS

3 cups of all-purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons of salt
1/2 teaspoon of instant yeast
1-1/2 cups water at room temperature

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large bowl, beat the flour, salt and yeast. Add water until mixed; the dough will be crumbly and sticky. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let dough rest for 12 to 18 hours at room temperature.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Place in a 6 to 8 quart covered pan in the oven and let it heat up for about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, gently scrape the dough onto a well-floured work surface. Form a ball with the dough. Place the dough on a piece of parchment paper and cover it with plastic wrap.
Once the pot is heated, remove the plastic wrap from the ball of dough. Carefully lift the dough and parchment paper and place them so that the parchment paper forms a line at the bottom of the container (NOTE: the container will be extremely hot, so be careful when lowering the parchment paper and dough into the container).
Cover the pan with the lid and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the lid and continue baking for 10-15 minutes more.
