Cheese cake with peanut butter and chocolate filling
I will be attending the blog conferences this week. Trying to make sense of all the things that make blogs work with Google, Facebook, Pinterest, video (yes, I have some of those in the works) and more. Since taking over from Joan 18 months ago, I still feel like I’m swimming in the deep end.
INGREDIENTS
CAKE
1½ cup light brown sugar (unpacked)
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
4 eggs
½ cup of vegetable oil
1 cup of milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1½ cups of flour
½ cup of cocoa
½ cup chocolate pudding mix (or vanilla pudding mix)
2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt
FILLING IN
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
¼ cup of peanut butter
¼ cup of sugar
1 egg
WHITE CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER GANACHE
½ cup of white chocolate chips
¼ cup of peanut butter
2 tablespoons of milk
DARK CHOCOLATE GANACHE
¼ cup of dark chocolate
2 tablespoons of cream
Optional garnish: 12 oreos of peanut butter
