PEANUT BUTTER CREAM PIE

Ingredients:

  • Pie Crust:
  • 9-inch pre-baked and cooled (about 23 cm)
  • Peanut Butter Filling:
  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter (about 240g)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened (about 226g)
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar (about 120g)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (about 240ml)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional Toppings:
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (about 120g)
  • Whipped cream for garnish

Instructions:

To make the peanut butter filling, whip the cream cheese until creamy, then blend in the peanut butter and confectioners’ sugar until smooth.

In another bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until well combined.

Pour the filling into the pre-baked and cooled pie crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours to allow it to set.
