Perfectly Soft Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Yes, I know I’ve been going a little crazy lately with my baking recipes on my blog, but hey, it’s close to the holidays and it’s the only time I can bake my buns and no one judges me for it.

Ingredients

1/2 cup salted butter, softened
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips from the toll house
1/2 cup of nuts

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Heat the butter for about 15 seconds so that it is half melted and half soft.
Mix the granulated sugar and brown sugar until creamy.
Lightly mix the egg and vanilla.
Mix the flour and the baking soda.
Add the chocolate chips and the nuts.
Roll in cookie dough balls and bake for 10-12 minutes, do not over-bake (I take mine out on the 10 minute timer).
ENJOY!
