These Puff Pastry Lemon Knots are super easy to make but full of lemon citrus flavor! Perfect to make for a simple dessert!
1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
1 tablespoon of water
1/3 cup of powdered sugar
3 teaspoons of lemon juice
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Mix egg and water and set aside. Line the baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
On a floured surface, spread the dough and roll it into a rectangle. Cut 12 strips.
Fold each strip in half from top to bottom. Then make a knot.
Place it on the baking sheet and brush it with washed egg.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Meanwhile, beat in the powdered sugar and lemon juice.
Brush off cooled knots. Cover with lemon peel.
