~SALTED CARAMEL COOKIE DOUGH BILLIONAIRE BARS!

That’s all I can say! Just mentally take all your favorite sweet flavors, and combine them in a sinful and decadent bar! Now, maybe… just maybe you can imagine what an amazing and unique dessert… this Billionaire Bar IS!
Every bite will make you feel like a Billionaire! A sweet, sticky, chewy, chocolatey, salty and satisfied Billionaire! These bars are different, because the flavors are totally enhanced by a light sprinkling of salt. You take home all the incredible flavors with a POP!

Just what you’ll need:

The crust:
A 9×13 baking tray
A 1-1lb. roll of Pillsbury sugar cookie dough

The candy layer:
1 (14 oz.) bag of candy
1/2 cup of heavy cream

The layer of cookie dough:
3/4 cup (1 – 1/2 sticks) of butter, softened at room temperature
2/3 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons of heavy cream
1 – 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon of salt
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate mini chips

The top layer of chocolate:
1-1/2 cups of regular semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
A pinch of sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9×13″ baking sheet with spray and line it with parchment for extra insurance!
  2. Press the cookie dough evenly down into the pan .
Bake it according to the instructions on the package, let it cool down… set aside!
  3. While baking cookie crust, combine candy and cream in a medium saucepan over low heat. Allow to melt, stirring occasionally until smooth, about 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare cookie dough layer. In a large bowl add the soft butter, brown sugar, flour, salt, cream and vanilla. Mix until combined, fluffy and light in color. I made it by hand without any problem… just when you think it’s not coming together… BOOM~ is perfection!
    Add the chocolate chips…
Pour the caramel layer evenly over the cooled cookie crust…
Spread the cookie dough gently over the caramel layer, be careful not to press the caramel too hard. You must make sure to keep the two layers separated…
  5. Melt 1-1/2 cups of chocolate chips with 1/4 cup of peanut butter in a saucepan, or in the microwave for a few seconds… stirring until combined and smooth!
Pour it over the layer of cookie dough…
Spread the chocolate evenly over it, sprinkle the salt… and let it cool completely!
Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
Cut them into squares, and serve…
These will get sticky at room temperature, but will taste great. I keep mine in the fridge and take them as I want one… which is too often!
    They are too cold! ~Enjoy! ~ 🙂
