Crunchy on the outside and tender in the middle, these sausage balls only need 3 ingredients!
▢2 cups of cookie mix
▢6 cups grated hot cheddar cheese
▢1 pound of ground pork sausage
▢3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
▢3 tablespoons of sour cream
▢1 tablespoon of granulated Dijon mustard or regular Dijon
▢⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
Combine all the ingredients of the sauce in a small bowl. Refrigerate.
Preheat the oven to 350˚F
Combine cookie mixture, cheese and ground sausage in a bowl. Mix well until the mixture is moist and holds together.
Using one tablespoon, form into balls.
Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
If you don’t have a cookie mix, combine 2 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of salt and ⅓ cup of butter. Pulse the mixture in a food processor until the butter is incorporated.
