SLOPPY JOE DIP

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to broil. (The top oven rack should be about 6 inches from the broiler.)
2. In a large, oven-safe skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onions, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking until the beef is no longer pink.
3. Add in beef broth, ketchup, and mustard. Stir until all ingredients are incorporated.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water. Pour into the beef mixture and whisk, cooking until thickened.
5. Remove the pan from heat and stir in a cup of the cheese until melted.
6. Top with the remaining cheese.
7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and broil until the cheese is hot and bubbly (3-5 minutes).
8. Serve warm with toasted baguettes or bagel chips.
