Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu Recipe

  • 420g (15 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ tsp. garlic, crushed
  • 1 kg (2 lb.) boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 250g (7 oz.) ham slices
  • 200g (6 oz.) sliced Swiss cheese
  • 200g (6 oz.) dry bread stuffing
  • 60g (2 oz.) unsalted butter, cubed

  1. Mix the milk, cream of chicken and garlic.
  2. Pour 1/4 of the cream of chicken mix into the slow cooker.
  3. Layer half of the ham over the top of the cream of chicken mix.
  4. Add the chicken breasts.
  5. Top with the remaining ham and the swiss cheese.
  6. Pour the rest of the cream of chicken mix over the top.
  7. Top with the stuffing mix and scatter the butter over the top.
  8. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  9. Serve & Enjoy

 Recipe Tips

  • The chicken breast can be swapped out for something like chicken thigh instead.
  • If you’re unable to get your hands on some dry bread stuffing, then you could use breadcrumbs instead. For the best results, I would look at using something like panko breadcrumbs.
  • Swiss cheese is ideal for this recipe but can be swapped out for another cheese if required. Something like a cheddar will be an ample replacement.
