This strawberry cake is a twist on my favorite fresh strawberry cake that my grandmother made every summer. A fantastic dessert for any summer gathering, barbecue or potluck!

INGREDIENTS
FOR THE BARK:
2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup of sugar
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup cold butter, cut into cubes
FOR THE CAKE:
6 oz of strawberry gelatin
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1/3 cup of cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon of salt
20 oz sprite (2 1/2 cups)
32 oz of strawberries, washed and uncovered
Whipped topping or whipped cream for garnish.
