These are literally the BEST garlic shrimp ever! I’ve eaten them twice in one week!
1kg of green prawns, peeled and deveined
115g of butter
1/2 cup of cream
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish if desired
Heat the butter and garlic on high until the butter melts.
Add the flour.
Slowly add the broth and cream and stir to combine
Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes or until thickened, stirring every 10 minutes.
Add mustard, S&P to taste
Add the prawns and cover and cook on HIGH for 15-20mins, stirring gently halfway through.
The prawns were tender and incredibly delicious!
