Trisha Yearwood’s Creamy Grape Salad Made Lighter

I have a sweet and refreshing salad/dessert for you today. Trisha Yearwood’s Creamy Grape Salad/Dessert is a winner at any time of the year, but especially in the summer.

Light, creamy and refreshing, this sweet and delicious grape salad will make a summer barbecue, potluck or picnic.

Ingredients

1 pound of green seedless grapes
1 pound of red seedless grapes
4 ounces of light cream cheese
1/2 cup fat-free Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons Truvia baking mix (or your choice of sweetener)
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons of brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup chopped nuts or pecans

Instructions

Wash the grapes and dry them well with paper towels. Place the dried grapes in a bowl or in a baking dish. (You can cut them in half or leave them whole. It is entirely up to you. I’ve done both with good results).
In a bowl, combine the yogurt, cream cheese, Truvia and vanilla. Mix well with an electric mixer. Pour this mixture over the grapes and mix until all the grapes are covered.
Chill the salad in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Just before serving, sprinkle with the brown sugar and nuts.
