Actually Crispy Oven Baked Wings

These baked wings are perfectly juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Ingredients

▢1 ½ pounds of split chicken wings with tips removed, about 18 wings.
▢1 tablespoon flour
▢1 teaspoon baking powder
▢½ teaspoon seasoned salt
▢½ teaspoon black pepper
▢1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

Pat the wings dry with a paper towel.
Prepare a pan by lining with aluminum foil and placing a baking rack over it. Spray the rack with cooking spray.
Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Mix with wings and place on prepared pan. Refrigerate 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours) uncovered.
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Toss the wings with the olive oil in a bowl (making sure there are no dry spots of flour) and return to the prepared pan.
Bake the wings for 20 minutes, flip them over and bake for 15 minutes more. If the wings smoke, remove the foil and add another one. Cook until crisp and broil 1 minute per side if desired.
Toss with salsa or serve with dips.
