These baked strawberry doughnuts are delicious! We love to make homemade donuts on weekends and holidays when we have time in the morning. It’s easier than you think, just grab a tray of doughnuts and follow this recipe.


1/4 cup unsalted butter melted at room temperature.
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup of sugar
2 large eggs at room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup of milk
2 1/2 all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup fresh strawberries, peeled and diced
7 drops of optional red food coloring

2 cups of powdered sugar
1/2 cup of milk


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
Spray your doughnut molds with non-stick baking spray.
In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Stir to combine
Put it aside.
In a separate bowl, add the milk, oil, sugar, egg, butter and vanilla.
Stir until completely mixed.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones
Now, add your food coloring (optional). Stir until combined.
Add your strawberries and fold them into the batter.
Put the dough in the doughnut tray
Bake for 9-10 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow cooling for 10 minutes.

In a medium bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and milk.
Place a piece of aluminum foil under the wire rack with the doughnuts to catch the glaze.
Pour the icing from the bowl over the doughnuts
