Banana Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients :

For the banana cake
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/3 cups of sugar
2 eggs
1 cup of sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 medium bananas, mashed (about 2 cups)

For the cream cheese glaze
8 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups of powdered sugar

HOW TO DO IT:

Preheat oven to 350° and just before filling, spray (2) 8-inch molds with non-stick spray.

For the banana cake
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy.
Add the eggs and beat until combined, then beat in the sour cream and vanilla.
Then add the flour, baking soda and salt and beat until combined.
Add the mashed bananas and mix until combined.
Pour it into the prepared cake tins and bake for approximately 35-40 minutes or until the inserted toothpick comes out clean.

For the cream cheese glaze
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter until combined, then add the vanilla.
Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until smooth and creamy.
Once the cake has cooled down, frost the cake and enjoy!
