Rich, chewy brownies and a sweet, creamy cheesecake come together to create this amazing Brownie Bottom cheesecake. So easy to make and incredibly delicious, you’ll love this recipe!
1 box of brownies prepared according to the instructions on the package
2 8-ounce packages of softened cream cheese
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup hot caramel sauce
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Grease a 9 or 10 inch skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Pour the brownie batter evenly into pan; set aside.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla extract and mix well.
Pour cream cheese mixture over the brownie dough and spread it gently to cover the brownie dough.
Bake the cheesecake at 350F for 30 minutes, then reduce the heat to 325F and bake for 15 more minutes. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature in the pan before removing the springform pan.
Put the hot caramel sauce in a plastic bag (or a zippered bag with the corner cut off) and place it on top of the cheesecake. Cut and serve.
