Butterbeer Fudge

This could embarrass Hagrid’s molasses candy.

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE CANDY LAYER
2 tablespoons of butter
A 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
3 c. of caramel chips

FOR THE WHITE CHOCOLATE SWIRL
1/3 c. of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 c. White chocolate chips
1 c. marshmallow pieces (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Line an 8″-x-8″ pan with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
Make caramel layer: In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter, then add condensed milk and caramel shavings. Stir until all the chips have melted and the mixture is completely combined. Pour into prepared pan.
Swirl white chocolate: In another small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the condensed milk, vanilla and white chocolate chips and stir until the chips have melted. Remove from heat and sprinkle white chocolate over the caramel candy, then use a butter knife to gently mix the two flavors. Cover with chunks of marshmallow, if desired, using your hands to press them into the top of the caramel.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Slice and serve.
