BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES RECIPE

You have to try this old-fashioned candy cookie recipe. Each bite is soft and chewy for the best cookie. The whole recipe is simple.

Ingredients

1 cup of softened butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups of flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 cups of caramel chips.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F,
Mix the butter with the two sugars and the vanilla extract with a hand or foot blender. Mix until completely combined.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing them together to make sure they are fully incorporated.
Then stir the flour, baking soda and salt by hand. Do not over-mix.
Then gently add the pieces of caramel.
Put the dough on cookie sheets in about 1 tablespoon and make sure they are about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Remove from oven, allow cookies to cool on cookie sheets for about 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Enjoy!
