I love chicken! Yeah, I’m guilty! As you all know, I’m always trying to come up with new recipes to enjoy my chicken, and this fried chicken with broccoli blew my mind yesterday, so I want to share it with you.
You’re gonna need it:
1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into 1-inch pieces.
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped.
2 teaspoons of finely chopped ginger.
1 cup chicken broth.
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
2 cups of broccoli flowers
2 tsp. cornstarch
Over medium-high heat, heat a 12-inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray and add chicken, garlic and ginger until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
Add ¾ cup broth, soy sauce and sugar and cook covered for 5 minutes stirring halfway through.
Add broccoli and cook covered for 5 more minutes. Stir occasionally.
In a small bowl, mix the cup of broth ¼ with the cornstarch and pour into the pan.
Cook while stirring to thicken the sauce.
Easy, with peas and delicious! The fried broccoli gives an incredible flavor to my chicken, it’s so delicious guys, I’m telling you! I had it with a hot vegetable salad, it was perfect.
