This easy recipe is perfect for a special weekend breakfast, a holiday brunch or even a dessert – just 3 easy steps!
2 cans of cinnamon rolls (including icing)
6 tablespoons of butter (melted)
¾ cup of milk
1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla
¾ cup maple syrup
½ cup of powdered sugar
1-2 tablespoons of milk
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
In a 9×13 pour the melted butter.
Open the cinnamon rolls and remove the ice cubes and set aside.
Cut each cinnamon roll into 4 pieces. Place the pieces of the cinnamon rolls in the 9×13 tray on top of the melted butter. Using a spoon, stir the cinnamon pieces to cover them with melted butter, then make the pieces all even and spread them out without stacking them on top of each other.
In a medium bowl, beat the eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla. Pour over the cinnamon rolls.
Sprinkle maple syrup over the top of the cinnamon rolls.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the baker comes out clean.
In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar with one tablespoon of milk (add an additional tablespoon of milk if necessary) until it has the consistency of ice. Add the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls to this mixture and mix well.
Put ice in the pan with the icing mixture.
