Creamy Chicken Oven
I love easy recipes for dinner! They’re my favorite! They’re the ones I rely on almost every day so I can feed my husband and kids quickly and without a lot of stress.
The next recipe is one of those we like: easy, delicious and quick. We’ve always loved chicken and are very happy to find this creamy Swiss chicken pot pie (also known as chicken with mayonnaise or chicken with sour cream).
This recipe has many different names, but it’s a chicken oven that only takes a few minutes to prepare. The result is phenomenal and we love having it and serving it with noodles or rice.
We tend to eat tons of chicken at our house, so if you like chicken too and like an easy recipe, you should definitely try this Creamy Swiss Chicken Pie. 🙂
How to make Swiss chicken
This recipe is more than easy, and you’ll see why. To make it, preheat the oven to 375. Dry the chicken and place it on a greased 9×13 plate. Add sliced Swiss cheese over each breast.
In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Spread this over the chicken and sprinkle the remaining grated Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour and serve alone or over rice or noodles.
4-6 boneless skinless chicken breast
6-8 slices of Swiss cheese (mozzarella also works)
½ cup of mayonnaise
½ cup of sour cream
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
½ tsp of salt
½ tsp pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
Preheat the oven to 375.
Dry the chicken and place it on a greased 9×13 tray.
Add sliced cheese over chicken breasts.
In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, ½ cup parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Spread this over the chicken and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 1 hour.
