Make an apple pie in the electric pot, no one will guess that it started with a box mix. A delicious and simple dessert that you can make any time of the year.
Ingredients
40 ounces of apple pie in two 20 ounce cans, 1 can if using a pot less than 4.5 quarts.
16-ounce box of white cake mix
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Cinnamon sugar is optional.
Vanilla ice cream is optional
Instructions
Empty the two cans of apple pie that are full into the jar. If you want, sprinkle the apples with cinnamon sugar.

Mix the cinnamon into the dry cake mix, then sprinkle the dry cake mix over the apples.

Put the melted butter in the layer of the cake mix. Do not mix the butter with the cake mix. The moisture generated by the slow cooker will bake the cake.

Cook in the high position for 4 hours (or in the low position for 6 hours).
