Crockpot Brown Sugar Balsamic Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

2 pounds of pork loin
1 teaspoon of ground sage
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 garlic clove; crushed
½ cup of water
½ cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
½ cup of water
2 tablespoons soy sauce

HOW TO DO:

Mix the condiments: sage, salt, pepper and garlic.
Rub on the back. Put ½ cup of water in the slow cooker; put the loin in the slow cooker.
Simmer for 6-8 hours.
an hour before finishing roast, mix ingredients for glaze in a small saucepan: brown sugar, cornstarch, balsamic vinegar, water, soy sauce.
Heat over medium heat and stir until the mixture thickens about 4 minutes.
Paint the roast with the glaze 2 or 3 times during the last hour of cooking. (For a more caramelized crust: remove from the pot and place on an aluminum lined tray, glaze and place under the grill for 1 or 2 minutes until it bubbles and caramelizes. Repeat 2 or 3 more times until the desired crust is achieved).
Serve with remaining glaze on the side
