GERMAN PANCAKES

These light and fluffy German pancakes have become a family favorite breakfast recipe. They are easy to make, requiring only 5 simple ingredients that are basic in the kitchen. Serve with powdered sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon or even homemade buttermilk syrup for a delicious breakfast (or dinner)!

Ingredients

6 eggs
1 cup of milk
1 cup of flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
5 tablespoons of butter

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 450. In a medium bowl, beat the eggs. Add milk, flour and salt.
In the heated oven, heat the butter in a 9×13 container. Pour the dough into a melted butter dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes. The sides will be full and fluffy but will calm down once removed from the oven. Serve immediately with syrup, cinnamon or whatever you like.
