Grilled Bacon-Wrapped Corn on the Cob

As long as your grill’s on, you can use it. Corn on the cob comes with a natural handle that makes it easy to turn the cobs on the grill.

This bacon-wrapped corn is so good, it’s practically a meal in itself. After one bite of this grilled corn on the cob, you will never go back to your old way of preparing it. The incredible flavor of the roasted corn combined with the bacon and chili powder will surely please your palate and bring favorable reviews at your next backyard barbecue.
This bacon-wrapped corn takes corn on the cob to a whole new level! It can be grilled or baked. This is something I can’t wait to play with. I tried a grilled corn with jalapeño cheese (with some problems), so I’m still working on it… but the addition of the grill makes the corn so damn delicious! The best corn recipe you’ve ever tried, Sugarcube and Bacon Wrapped Corn is what dreams are made of! It all starts with tender sweet corn wrapped in crispy smoky bacon and covered with caramelized brown sugar.

Ingredients

10 ears of corn, husked and cleaned

Cajun seasoning at ease

salt and black pepper to taste

1 package of 1 pound of sliced bacon

10 sheets of 12×8 inch aluminum foil

Addresses

Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
Sprinkle each ear of corn with Cajun seasoning, salt and pepper, and wrap each ear with 2 slices of bacon, covering the ear as completely as possible. (A large ear may need 3 pieces of bacon.) Wrap the ears in aluminum foil, twisting the ends tightly to seal.
Place the wrapped corn on the preheated grill, and cook over high heat until the corn is hot, about 10 minutes on each side. Turn heat to low, and grill corn until bacon is cooked and corn is tender, about 45 minutes.
