Easy to make Homemade Peach Cobbler has sweet and tangy peaches in a crumbly crust for a delicious dessert that everyone loves.
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ¾ cup milk
- 4-5 cups sliced peaches fresh or frozen
- cinnamon for sprinkling, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350˚F. Grease 9×13 casserole dish.
- Add butter to dish and melt (in preheating oven), or melt butter and add to bottom of dish.
- Mix together flour, sugars, salt, and baking powder. Add milk and mix thoroughly.
- Pour batter over butter; do not mix. Top with peaches.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes, until batter is cooked through.
- Serve warm or at room temperature with ice cream or whipped cream.
