LITTLE SMOKIES WRAPPED IN BACON

Small sausages wrapped in bacon and covered with sweet brown sugar – an easy recipe for parties, game days or meals! They bake to perfection in a delicious golden brown. These bacon-wrapped sausages are so addictive that everyone loves them, from kids to adults. What’s not to love here?

You’ll need

1 pound of bacon (not thickly sliced)
1 package of lightly smoked sausages
3/4 cup brown sugar, unpacked

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350°F
Wrap 1/3 to 1/2 piece of bacon around a small sausage and place it in the pan.
Place the seam in the pan…
Repeat with the remaining small
Sprinkle brown sugar over bacon-wrapped smokies evenly
Bake, uncovered, for one hour…
Start checking after 45 minutes as baking time may vary depending on the bacon. You will know they are ready when the bacon is crisp and the sugar is melted and caramelized.
