The connection between a mother and her babies cannot be easily broken. That’s why we were initially surprised when we saw the man in the following video find a cute baby lying on the floor, alone. Don’t worry, his mother was watching him from a distance to make sure he was okay.
Igor Venâncio, a Brazilian animal lover, was walking near his home one night when he saw a group of children gathered around a dark object. He came closer when he realized that the dark spot was actually a marmoset, an adorable type of monkey that is native to his area of Brazil.
She knew that the baby’s mother could not be far away. Of course, after scattering the area for a few minutes, Venâncio saw the mother anxiously watching the scene from a nearby tree.
Venâncio thought that the mother was afraid to go down to look for her son because of the commotion. To the man’s surprise, even after the children gave the mother monkey plenty of room, she still hesitated to come down from the tree and approach her baby.
At this point, the man knew he had only one option. To bring the two of them together on their own. Hearing the adorable squeaking of the little monkey, the man picked her up and reunited her with her shy mother.
The mother monkey, who must have been terrified, not knowing if the man wanted to hurt her baby. She finally trusted him enough to take the child from his hand and disappear into the tree. Not before he made some more adorable squeals, of course.
Recalling the event, Venâncio claims that during the several seconds he crossed his eyes with the mother, she had nothing but gratitude in her eyes – something he won’t soon forget!
