Mini Cherry Cheese Danishes

The Danish cherry cheese, oh God! These are easy and delicious! If you like cherries and Danish cheese, then you should try them. In 20 minutes you’ll be enjoying a nice, warm Danish with some coffee/tea! The filling of these is magnificent and loved by all who eat them. They also come together so quickly that you can whip them up on any lazy Sunday morning.


1 roll of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
flour, just to sprinkle

Filling out
4 ounces of soft cream cheese
⅓ cup of sugar
splash vanilla
1 can of cherry pie filling

⅓ cup of powdered sugar
2 teaspoons of milk


Open the roll container and do not unroll the rolls. Use a sharp, serrated knife to cut them like cookies. Make 10 slices.
Place each slice on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Use a measuring cup to flatten each roll and build a small wall around the edge.
Use a drop of flour to prevent sticking and press with your fingertips.

Mix the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
Put a small amount in each “Danish”.
Add a teaspoon of cherries.
Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes.
Allow to cool and add a little icing.

Combine milk and sugar and drizzle over the Danes. You can use a pastry bag, if you wish.
