NO-BAKE PEANUT BUTTER BARS

This no-bake peanut butter bar recipe is literally foolproof. It is made with 5 simple ingredients and takes only 10 minutes to prepare. They are chocolatey and creamy and taste even better than your favourite peanut butter cup!
Let’s be honest, there is no better duo than peanut butter and chocolate. So you better believe these peanut butter bars are also incredibly delicious!

Ingredients

¾ cup butter (melted)
2 cups graham crackers (crushed)
2 cups powdered sugar
1 ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
2 ½ cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter

Instructions

Line a 9×9 baking dish with parchment paper, set aside.
Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, mix the melted butter, powdered sugar and graham crackers.
Stir in the cup of creamy peanut butter (1 ¼), just enough to blend in well.
Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
In a heat-resistant bowl, add the semi-sweet chocolate chips and the remaining 3 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter. Heat for 30 seconds, stirring well after each interval until peanut butter and chocolate are smooth.
Spread chocolate mixture over peanut butter base.
Cool the bars for 1 hour.
Let the bars stand for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature before serving.

Recipe Notes

If using unsalted butter, add a pinch of salt to the peanut butter mixture.
To slice them, take them out of the refrigerator and let them stand for about 10 minutes. Run a sharp knife under very hot water and slice carefully.
If you prefer thinner bars, use a 9×13 mould.
