Reese’s peanut butter cookie cake is a dream dessert for all peanut butter lovers. This delicious cross between a giant cookie and a cake is filled with Reese’s chunks and cups of peanut butter.
INGREDIENTS
One refrigerated pie crust defrosted according to package instructions.
1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of Reese’s pieces
1 cup of Reese’s chopped peanut butter
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Spread the pie crust and place it on a pie plate, ribbing the edges if desired.
In a medium bowl, whisk together butter, peanut butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until combined.
Add egg, vanilla and salt and beat until combined.
Then add the flour and mix until incorporated.
Fold Reese’s pieces and peanut butter cups and press the mixture into the prepared cake crust.
Bake for 35 minutes until center is well placed, remove from oven and let cool.
Cover with ice cream and chocolate syrup if desired.
NOTES
- Press a few more pieces of Reese and cups of chopped peanut butter on top before baking to make it nice.
