2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour*
3/4 cup Dixie crystals Light brown sugar
1/2 cup extra fine granulated sugar from Dixie Crystals
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted and slightly chilled
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup of candy pieces
1 cup squares of candy, cut into quarters
1 cup of chopped nuts
Sea salt flakes, optional

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper, set aside.1
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and baking soda,
corn starch, salt and cinnamon.2
Add the butter, combine it with a spatula or hand blender until it crumbles. Add the eggs and
vanilla extract and whip until well combined. Fold the candy tokens, the candy squares and
…nuts. (Optional: reserve a few candy tokens, candy squares and nuts to cover the cookie
with the dough for a more beautiful presentation)3
Roll two heaping tablespoons of cookie dough into a ball and place in the prepared oven
leaving 2 inches per cookie to spread. (If you reserved extra toppings, put
…on the cookie dough now.)4

sprinkle with sea salt in flakes, to taste.5
Allow cookies to cool for 10 minutes on a baking sheet. Enjoy them hot or let them cool completely
