4 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows
3 tablespoons of butter
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
11 oz. package of unwrapped Kraft candy
2 tablespoons of milk
coarse sea salt for sprinkling
Prepare a 9×13-inch glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray, set aside.
Place the butter and marshmallows in a large microwave safe container. Microwave for 1 minute and 15 seconds until the marshmallows melt and swell; stir well until smooth.
In a large mixing bowl, combine Rice Krispies and marshmallow mixture; place in prepared glass baking dish and press evenly.
In a medium microwave bowl, combine the candy and milk. Microwave up for 1 minute and 20 seconds Stir well until completely smooth. If the caramel does not incorporate well into the milk, continue to heat the mixture in the microwave in 10 second increments, stirring well between each heat until smooth.
Pour the melted caramel sauce over the Rice Krispies candies. Sprinkle the top with coarse sea salt; leave it to settle for 15 minutes. Cut into 16 bars and serve.
