Peanut butter and Krispie chewy rice bars covered with a rich chocolate and caramel glaze. It’s hard to say no to these delicious chocolate scotches!
6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal
1 cup of peanut butter
1 cup of sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups of caramel chips.
Grease a 9×13 frying pan. Set aside.
Pour the Rice Krispies into a large bowl and set aside.
Bring peanut butter, sugar and corn syrup to a boil in a medium saucepan. Be sure to stir constantly.
Pour the hot mixture over the Rice Krispies in a large bowl and mix well. Pour into a greased 9×13 pot and press down gently with a spatula.
Melt chocolate and caramel chips in a small pot, stirring constantly over low heat. Pour over the pressed Rice Krispies and let them rest before cutting and serving.
