Nevertheless, after a lot of searching, Vicente finally found a home and a new, loving family that actually wanted him. The shelter released an official statement saying that the pup is now adopted:

“Thanks to all interested people—we never thought that your story would get that far. We want to tell you that Vicente has already been adopted by a beautiful family.”

The announcement of Vincente’s adoption broke more than a few hearts. But, with over 40 more residences at the shelter there plenty more puppers to go around.

With any luck, all of Vicente’s sweet pals can get the same happy ending they all deserve!

Vicent now enjoys his days being cuddled up in his new home!
