Slow cooked pineapple ham with brown sugar with a sweet and spicy coating, this is the perfectly sweet and spicy ham your family will love! We especially like to make this brown sugar ham for the holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, and you don’t need any room in the oven!
1 8-9 pounds of ham
A 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple
1 cup of brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
Add the ham to the slow cooker and dry with paper towels.
Pour more than half of the crushed pineapple can.
Mix the brown sugar with the spices and add it to the ham.
Set aside the rest of the pineapple to cover it when the ham is served.
Simmer for three hours.
